Post-Painting Care Tips:

• Swiftly address any wall stains.
• Use a clean cloth or duster to remove dirt from top to bottom.
• For common household stains like pencil marks, tea, coffee, or crayons, employ a 5% soap/detergent solution and a sponge.
• For tougher stains like turmeric or ink, opt for a mild detergent solution (e.g., Pril or Vim Liquid) for effective cleaning.

Usage Guidelines:

1. Preparation Before Painting: Before applying Royale Aspira, it’s essential to prepare the surface properly. This includes addressing any plaster issues, cleaning the surface, and filling cracks, holes, and dents. Avoid using Royale Aspira on surfaces prone to continuous seepage or dampness.
2. Seven-Step Application Process: The application process involves seven crucial steps:
   • Step 1 – Sanding: Begin by sanding the surface using 180-grit sandpaper, then wipe it clean.
   • Step 2 – Base Coat Application: Apply the base coat (Royale Wall Base Coat) using a brush or roller. You can dilute it with water by up to 50% – 60%. Recoating is possible after 4-6 hours.
   • Step 3 – Acrylic Wall Putty Application: Apply acrylic wall putty as needed, with dilution as per requirements. Recoating can be done after 4-6 hours.
   • Step 4 – Sanding: Sand the surface again using 180-grit sandpaper and wipe it clean.
   • Step 5 – Second Base Coat Application: Apply a second layer of base coat (Royale Wall Base Coat) using a brush or roller, with the option to dilute it by up to 50% – 60%. Recoating is possible after 4-6 hours.
   • Step 6 – Sanding: Sand the surface once more, this time using 320-grit sandpaper, and wipe it clean.
   • Step 7 – Royale Aspira Application: Apply two coats of Royale Aspira with an interval of 4 – 6 hours between coats. You can dilute it with water by up to 40% – 50% when using a Felt Roller.

Drying Time: Surface drying time is approximately 30 minutes, and it fully hardens in 4 to 6 hours.

Coverage: Expect a coverage area of 118 – 140 sq.ft per liter for two coats.

Tools Needed: You’ll require brushes, rollers, a felt roller, a putty knife, and sanding paper with 180 and 320 grit.

Precautions:

• Avoid applying Royale Aspira in ambient temperatures below 10°C or if the temperature may drop to this level within 4 hours of application.
• Steer clear of applying the paint when humidity levels exceed 90%, as it can prolong drying time and cause moisture condensation on the walls.
• Don’t excessively thin the paint or extend the brush.
• Use Asian Paints machine colorants for tinting.
• Tinted paints should be thoroughly shaken immediately after tinting and before use.
• Stir the paint well and strain it before application.
• To achieve the best results, ensure the surface is dry, with a moisture meter reading below 16%. Address any water source issues before painting if the reading is higher.
• For improved washability, let the paint surface cure for two weeks under normal atmospheric conditions (30°C; 50 – 60% RH).
